With its IP55 ingress protection and at least 6 layers of marine grade varnish, the luminaire is resistant to dust ingress, water jets, abrasion, mechanical stress, fungal growth, moisture, weathering, and UV-radiation. Although in order to increase the life of the product, we recommend applying 2 coats of UV-resistant varnish annually if the luminaire is exposed to direct sunlight and/or moisture.
